Paul-François Machauld
Paul-François Machauld (born in 1835) was taught by the sculptor Pierre-Charles Simart (1806-1857), who made the tombstone of Napoleon I, and whom himself had as masters Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (1780-1867) and James Pradier (1790-1852). P.-F. Machauld then started his career as a sculptor at the 1864 Salon.
