Beautiful Louis XV style serpentine-shaped chimney mantelpiece, made in white « Carrara » marble. The molded lintel is decorated with a central shell motif, surrounded by acanthus and flower garlands. The molded jambs, with winding patterns, are decorated with a shell in the upper part and end with acanthus leaves
