Charming Louis XV style mahogany veneered small table, with a curved and sinuous shape.
Beautiful garniture of chiseled and gilded bronze with foliage patterns and flowers. It opens with a drawer and is surmounted by a Fleur de pêcher marble top surrounded by a border.
Biography
Alexandre Chevrié established himself in 1878 at 11 rue Portefoin then at 7 rue Braque in 1886, where he had his workshops and his shop. He was a manufacturer of art furniture, small style furniture and artistic fantasies. He participates in the Exhibitions of 1878 and 1889, where he got a silver medal. He was four times a jury member, and in 1894, not competing, decorated with the Legion of Honor.
