Beautiful Louis XVI style writing table made in mahogany. The rectangular top, surrounded on three sides by a fine pierced and gilt-bronze frieze, above a drawer whose front forms a flap opening by a clever mechanism, revealing an elegant brown leathered writing surface. The table stands on two mahogany legs with an openwork interlacing decoration, joined by a stretcher adorned with a centering pierced and gilt-bronze basket.
